TradingView Early Signal Explained (LIVE)
The Early (LIVE) label is a professional heads-up alert that a potential trade setup is forming. It is specifically designed to eliminate FOMO (Fear Of Missing Out) and give you sufficient time to prepare your execution — before the final confirmation.
What an Early Signal Actually Means
The Early (LIVE) alert appears when our indicator engine detects that price action is approaching the confirmation rules with a probability score high enough to merit trader attention.
- Preparation phase: Plan your trade setup without the stress of rushing.
- Real-time behavior: Updates dynamically as the candle evolves (zero future data bias).
- Confirmation Logic: BUY/SELL labels only finalize once all technical rules are met at the candle close.
Why Early Signals Can Appear and Disappear
Early is a dynamic indicator because it reflects live market conditions. If price momentum fades or filters become invalid before the candle closes, the Early alert will disappear. This is a feature, not a bug: it protects you from entering low-probability trades.
How to Use Early Signals for Best Execution
Integrate the Early alert into a disciplined trading plan:
- Mark your zones: Identify nearby Support/Resistance (S/R) levels while the Early alert is active.
- Check high-timeframe context: Ensure the alert aligns with the HTF trend direction.
- Wait for the Candle Close: Treat Early as "Attention" and Confirmed as "Action."
- Respect the No-Trade filter: If the system suggests No-Trade, stay sidelined despite an Early alert.
Early vs. Confirmed (The Simple Rule)
Confirmed BUY/SELL = Execution (Fixed and permanent once confirmed).
Common Mistakes to Avoid
- Mistake: Entering immediately when the Early label appears. → Fix: Use the time to calculate position size and wait for the close.
- Mistake: Chasing price during high volatility. → Fix: Let the candle finalize to avoid entry at the wick extreme.
- Mistake: Ignoring the "No-Trade" discipline gate. → Fix: Only act when the full confluence is met.
